    Since its inception, Peace University has been a distinctly urban university, one that PU founder, Albert Norman, called a university that is "in and of the city." Today, the University has evolved into a university that is "in and of the great cities of the world." PU's global network comprises three degree-granting portal campuses: one in the heart of MO.

    PU'S more than 500 students study more than 40 courses in dozens of degree and non-degree programs at locations around the world. In addition to the three portal campuses, students from abroad of diverse ethnicities are all studying under one roof.

    Admission into a bachelor’s degree program is covered by the following guidelines:

    1. Graduates of Department of Education-accredited high schools may be admitted as freshmen into the University based on their performance in the PU College Admission Test (PUCAT) and their weighted average in the first three (3) years of high school;

    2. Applicants who graduated from high schools abroad and who have not enrolled in college may be admitted as beginning freshmen into a degree program with available slots without taking

    Before you sign and submit your application, it is extremely important that you carefully read the Terms and Conditions that apply to Peace University

    When you sign your application, these Terms and Conditions form contractual obligations between you and Study Group Canada Limited ("Study Group Canada") or Study Group USA Higher Education LLC ("Study Group USA").

    The price for the Study Group Peace University, dba International Study Center, invoiced program does not encompass additional ancillary expenses, including but not limited to:

    • Personal spending money.
    • Insurance for pre-existing medical conditions, i.e., ailments which exist prior to arrival in the U.S.
    • Meal and housing costs during the few times the university is officially closed – usually limited to the Thanksgiving holiday in late November, the winter break Christmas holiday (which normally lasts about four weeks) and Spring vacation (approximately 10 days). Closure dates vary by university.
    • University textbooks and other necessary school supplies.
    • Airfare to and from U.S. domestic airport closest to the university campus in the United States (a round trip ticket is required).
    • Extra costs for ESL which may be required by a student whose English language proficiency is inadequate.

    Rules

    All participants in the Peace University, dba International Study Center, are subject to the rules of the university in which they are enrolled. Students must assume full responsibility for compliance. Students must adhere to all housing regulations of the university, to include payment, withdrawal, and/or cancellation. Rules governing alcohol, tobacco, controlled drugs, and other serious offenses will be strictly enforced. Applicants are reminded that international students in the United States must comply with both the letter and the spirit of the law in order to retain valid student visas. Violations of such laws/policies will render the participant liable for immediate dismissal from the program and repatriation to the home country, if not legal prosecution for violation of the laws of the state or federal jurisdictions involved. Students seeking transfer to a different institution between the date of initial arrival in the United States and the first day of classes may forfeit refunds. Admission is subject to eligibility and availability. Early application and payment is advised.

    Payment Policy

    Students are required to pay a $3,000 deposit directly to Study Group USA Higher Education LLC, dba International Study Center, before they receive an I-20 form from the partner institution. The balance of the fees for the first term must be paid one month before the first course start date. Students accepted by an institution after the billing due date are required to pay their deposit immediately upon receipt of the student visa. The balance of fees for the 1st term must be paid prior to arrival. All fees for second or subsequent ISC study terms must be paid two months prior to the term start date. Students with outstanding balances will be placed on hold by the host institution, and will be barred from attending classes, or moving into accommodations, until payment is made in full. Failure to make payment in full will result in a revocation of the I-20.

    Payments

    Payment can be made to the International Study Center using a number of payment options via our online payment platform.

    Certain payment options will carry a processing fee of 2.5%. We reserve the right to alter this charge from time to time. If you choose to pay in your local currency a foreign exchange rate will apply. The applicable exchange rate can be viewed online at the time and date of the payment. Bank charges and commission for both the sending and receiving banks will be paid by the sender of funds, or they will be applied to the student’s account.
